Private jet routes / Miami to Groton
Empty-leg private flights Miami to Groton. When an operator repositions this route, the whole aircraft goes for a fraction of a booked charter.
Empty legs we have carried on this route went for €17,050 for the whole aircraft. A scheduled charter over the same distance usually costs several times that, because you are paying for the aircraft to fly out and back.
About 2h 49m in the air, over 1.9k km. Private terminals add far less time on the ground than an airline departure, so door to door is usually shorter again.
Most often a Citation CJ4 Gen2. The aircraft is set by whichever operator is repositioning, so it changes from flight to flight; every listing names the type.
We have listed 1 on Miami to Groton so far, and 1 are on the board right now. Empty legs appear at short notice, so a route alert is the reliable way to catch one.
